This winter-grower makes a spreading mass of attractive foliage to 15" tall x 3' wide in 6 years (much slower than the species)
who found this on her property and realized it was much better than the Lespedeza thunbergii 'Albiflora' of the trade (earlier flowering and no color reversions)
The flowering show doesn't start here until Halloween

Agave isthmensis Moon Disc Onoclea (aka Buddleia NCSU 2005-029) FromAgave isthmensis 'Moon Disc' is a sport we discovered on Agave isthmensis 'Ohi Raijin Shiro Fu' with the same half dollar sized leaves, but with a slightly whiter center than its parent. Agave 'Moon Disc' makes a compact 6" tall x 6" wide rosette that is composed of thick leaves, each sporting a thumb sized white central pattern surrounded by a glaucous border. The offsets come from the trunk and not from underground runners like many other agave
