Inspired by the Dutch Masters of the 17th century, the pair worked side by side to distil painted idylls into scent each one a doorway into their shared world, where still life is reimagined in olfactory form. Here the iconic utility candle is adorned with a golden leaf, echoing Will Calver's SMOKE IN WOODS painting.
