It has little feet and is handcrafted and so is slightly lopsided when standing. It can also be hung. It opens both sides and given its age, it can get a little stuck at times but does still open effectively. Gorgeous for a country kitchen or add a little French farmhouse chic to your contemporary kitchen. It can be used for vegetables too and would even look lovely
